A new charging cord and my laptop is back in business! Boy, what an improvement to use a full size keyboard Would that everything else I'm worried about could be so easily and quickly remedied!
I'm concerned that the GOP is facilitating a white supremacy movement by allowing the F(elon)OTUS to allow Musk to do pretty much whatever he wants--snap up lucrative government contracts, bring his kid to work in the Oval Office, enable importing other white supremacist South Africans, and generally run amok in the name of government efficiency.
Who's in charge here?
And my congress critters are probably in Musk's pocket. Making those calls is still important, but I have to say that reading the weasel-worded replies is nauseating.
But I endeavor to persevere.

So glad to hear the cord was all that needed fixing for computer. I do love a full size keyboard which responds...saying that I've the arrow keys and one shift key that are dead on my free standing keyboard that my son gave me. But it's better than the almost dead keys on the laptop (from spilling ginger ale on them some months back - I'm just grateful the inner workings weren't damaged!)
Whew. Glad to hear it was that simple! I live on my iPad Pro these days and use it for internet, email, paying bills through the bank. I have to go to my desktop downstairs to print anything, though.
I think Rump is doing little, mostly just signing the orders that they shove before him.
I went to my congressman’s mobile office hours today with two other people and relayed many of our concerns. We also handed in letters detailing those concerns. NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE. We were heard politely, but heard basically meaningless platitudes, but at least we were heard.
