I can certainly imagine living without AC. Except for, what, two or three blessed summers when I had a working AC, after a basement flood ruined the unit I've been without for about a quarter century now. I just resign myself to moving and doing as little, and staying in front of a fan as much, as possible. Also remember to keep the curtains closed to keep out the sun, and open the windows only if it's cooler outside than in. It can be done. I find the hardest part, really, is stopping myself from crawling into the refrigerator. (I wouldn't fit in the freezer.) :-D

Is your title a typo? Sunday, Sanday?
Yep, a typo. And it's hard to change titles once they're posted.
Happy day, cooling off in any means is a good thing. (I like saying that but Martha always comes to my shoulder whenever "good thing" is said now!)
I can't imagine living without AC -- although I grew up without it.

Living in the mountains of NC instead of DC area or FL or TX or many other hot spots makes it doable, so far.
