Crows are always slightly sinister to me, not that we have any here in NZ. Your photos are beautiful.

Crows are pretty swell flyers, aren't they?
In the first picture . . . three crows and a shadow? ...or four crows?

A friend has crow as her totem animal. I just have been blessed by them seeming to show up every time I go out...with such expressive voices, not to be ignored!

I love crows -- even when they eat our corn. June, I have the same question -- I think it's not a shadow but can't be sure. I caught these pics out the car window and was lucky they came out as well as they did.

Crows can be very fascinating to watch. I often wonder just what they are up to.

It's no longer "first thing in the morning," so I can see now that the first photo is of four crows. Shadows don't have little curled-up feet hanging below them.
