Grey Day

A post-Christmas fog . . . the weather has been dark and rainy . . . and the house strangely quiet.  On Christmas Day there were eight humans for dinner and seven dogs milling about. But the young uns and their dogs left yesterday morning  . . .   and I spent yesterday reading and napping, unable to summon the energy to turn on the computer till after supper.  A timeless sort of day and a welcome hiatus.

I didn't even get dressed yesterday, just lounged around and recovered from Christmas Eve!

Same here. Welcomed the quiet, actually!

Your day yesterday sounds so nice. Tired for good reason, good new memories to mull over, comfortable...
Nice.

We enjoyed a quiet and relaxed day, yesterday. I've been watching the snowstorm that's sweeping across the US. Is it heading for your neck of the woods?

Sometimes you really need just such a non-day!

The photo is perfection. Just look at all the paths our imagination can travel along the crooked branches revealed yet blurry ... if I squint, I can just see ... a candle in a window, a dog curled up in a blanket ...

And good for you to rest up! :-)
