The weather was nice in the DC area yesterday too. Last night, around 3:30 a.m., we had a thunderstorm that sent Charlotte under the bed and left almost an inch in our rain gauge. At the start of summer, our area was going into a drought, but now we're getting about an inch of rain every week, which is ideal. Can't believe summer is almost two thirds over already.

I'll remember yesterday as the July cool day. Sort of like when Dec. has a day of 70 degrees. A nice respite!
