Time to Get Busy

Time to get the chickweed and henbit out of the flower bed around the sundial . . . time to weed the asparagus . . .

Time to admire the slowly opening tree peony . . .

Time to prune back the huge forsythia that was threatening to cover up the blue bench (Kate approves.)

Time to take a hot shower and go to bed . . .

I've been seeing your blog near daily for a number of years and I don't recall that sundial? I must be slippin' more than usual!

Time flies when you're having fun.

Ms. A -- I've posted shots of the sundial on several occasions -- it's been here a long time.

Time, indeed, to get started. Have a grand weekend!

We have a bogonvillia to trim and a cactus or two to water once in a while.

Wow Vicki, that gardening really does provide quite a workout...in beautiful surroundings.

Chickweed I know about, but what is henbit? Is it tough to pull out of the ground?

I feel your pain, Jim.

Frances, henbit is easily pulled -- one root system spreads out in a mat and comes up in one piece. It can be added to salads but I fed all mine to the chickens.

Thanks for the info, Vicki.

Now I can think of henbit bitten by hens, as I am sure others have done before me.

Ah, my feelings exactly when faced with the unendingness of garden chores.
