What a treat to have attended that cooking class. It seems as if Wally Maria had a very well-planned menu that allowed you all to learn lots of preparation techniques...and timing, too. May I also say that her kitchen looks rather amazing!

What a gorgeous showing of spring. I really miss being there this time of the year. I especially love the red buds, dogwoods & daffodils in the mountains. There's not much of what one would call "spring" in south Florida except that the bougainvillea is particularly showy this year. I used to say when we were in the islands that the bougainvillea bloom their hearts out for the tourists, but I love them just the same. Sam
