They are still in the cute stage.. but soon, well you know. We've had very few chicks this year, but I've a broody hen sitting on a peacock egg up in my barn, crossing fingers. Love those chickens!
These are downstairs chickens -- not the broiler chicks but Justin and Claui's egg flock which is free range just now. The momma of these three is the one we call Ruby's chicken because back when our tenants had Ruby the mare, this hen moved in with Ruby and roosted in her stall. She still hangs out there a lot.

Adorable!
They look like they are playing follow the leader. I'll bet you could spend hours just watchiing them.

Vicki, these photographs are delightful. Somehow my mind hopped over to that G&S lyric, "three little maids from school are we...."
The mind is an amusing place.
xo
And my mind went to "three little birds on my doorstep" by Bob Marley. Don't worry 'bout a thing, cause every little thing gonna be all right.
I take it these are upstairs chickens.
To carry the mind fling further. Chicken little tells Henny Penny the sky is falling. Thanks for causing my mind to fling.
