And the Wheel Turns Autumnwards

                              Summer's lushness fades,
Air cools, leaves crisp, nights lengthen,
                                    And Autumn arrives.
                                Seasons come and go . . .
                             Seasons come and go . . .

 Day and night balance
A brief moment in the sun's
                            Journey to the South.
And still the Great Wheel turns . . .
And still the Great Wheel turns . . .

Good morning Vicki, and thank you for the brilliant autumn images. Yes, that leaf's colors next to the blue bottle do sing a fine song.

May I also thank you for the quote in your prior post and the link to a very interesting article. My reluctance to own a smartphone is strengthened, along with my resolve to take more walks.

It is in the air here in Southern California. The mornings are cooling ever so slightly.

There is something melancholy in the poem, as there is in autumn itself.
