A Very Full Day . . .

From early morning Easter baskets for the visiting great nephews . . .

To an egg hunt for the two still-in-their jammies little boys . . .

to the big party down at the lower place . . .

and three more egg hunts for different age groups . . .

And lots of fun on a beautiful day . . .

A good time was had by all.

These were somewhat random photos.
I'll be putting together a web album of the party later in the week
and will post the link here on the blog

I love how all age groups were represented! that's the way a holiday should be, in my sentimental mind.

Cheers,

Beautiful land, beautiful people. What a life you, your family, and friends have created! I can just hear those guitars, Vicki.

I'll bet you are exhausted this morning, but the very full day was well worth it. I loved all of the photographs but was drawn to the one with the small boy and girl with guitars. Thanks for sharing this tradition with us.

I had to pop in and so glad I did...I am fascinated by the hoopla of family and community celebrations, in spite of the fact that I am (and always have been) extremely solitary so rarely participate in them. I guess I get my 'connection' vicariously. ;-) Love your photos and the joyful energy they exude in abundance.

It all looks wonderful fun. What lovely memories you're creating - it's got to be worth all the effort. I'd love to know more about the musical gentleman with the luxuriant beard.
