A Mixed Bag of Autumn

Oak leaves. . .
Sweet potatoes . . .
I wish I could remember what the name of this exuberant rose is ...

Sweet potatoes curing in the sun to toughen their skins for storage . . .
There are more to dig . . .

And back to the oak leaves
and that rose. . .

They are all wonderful shots. The name of the rose will come to you again. Just not today. The sweet potatoes should be great eating.

Welcome autumn with turning leaves and sweet potatoes. Oh, and for some...a new book published. What a great season!

I didn't know putting the sweet potatoes in the sun would toughen the skin for storage! I love learning new things.

Beautiful pictures for a wonderful time of year!

Beautiful photos. I was meaning to take a picture of the last rose that was blooming in my garden, but our low last night was 26 degrees. Ah well...

Sweet potatoes roasted with onions, olive oil, and cumin are on the menu for tomorrow night. I may have to have a baked one with butter for lunch.

Re last rose, Victoria -- we have escaped frost so far -- highs in the seventies, lows in the forties -- oh, what lovely weather. Too dry, though.

Feels like the sun is caught in the oak leaves, huh?
