Oh, no... some of your leaves are missing! You was robbed. I'll bet you have pictures of the evidence!

I sure know what you mean! I had a fall like that a few years ago. I think I took hundreds of LEAF pictures. The light, the colors, the contrasts . . . it's all breathtaking!

I love how you catch the light in the leaves!

I forced myself to sit and look at the sky last night and not run inside for my camera. I can still see the beauty this morning.

Love the leaves!

Me either, they are irresistible and I am enjoying the screensaver I have of all my October captures. I'm going to really love these pictures in the long cold winter. Yours are lovely, keep snapping and please keep sharing.

Don't stop because when all the leaves are gone you could always paint them.

They really are lovely, Vicki. That is something we just don't get in my part of Texas (Dallas). Occasionally a Bartlett pear tree or a lone maple will glow for a day or two, but mostly, we have Live Oaks that don't ever change or others that get so darn sick of the heat they finally turn brown and fall off out of sheer wearniess. Two weeks ago, we vacationed in NE New Mexico and I think I enjoyed the golden Aspens and Cottonwoods almost as I enjoyed the mountains. Keep on, keep on, Vicki.
