When we returned home Friday afternoon, a rainy, gloomy day, we found a forlorn bumble bee crawling around in our foyer. Bees can't fly in rain, and we think it came in on a package Jerry brought in right before we left for my medical appointment. It had dried off but was totally confused. Jerry picked it up gently and placed it outside under the roof overhang where it wouldn't get the rain. I have been wondering about that bee ever since.
About the only bees I've seen are a wasp today, and last week a wood-bee. Not terribly promising! I eat honey daily, and sure hope the honey workers keep on doing their magic.

Out in force now the weather is warmer. Good to see, since we so depend on them.
