I love the morning light!
Josie has fancy shoes, along with her hair bow.
A phalanx of Siberian irises.
The pond is ringed with yellow flag iris.
When we had the pond dug (maybe twenty years ago?) I planted a few clumps of these beauties that I'd dug from a boggy place on the unoccupied land that adjoined us.
They have thriven.
Josie is almost one -- what a big girl she is!

We're all a tad prejudiced.
Pond must have been dug more than 20 years ago. I first visited for Easter in 1995 and there was definitely a pond already.
