Words and pictures from the author of And the Crows Took Their Eyes as well as the Elizabeth Goodweather Appalachian Mysteries . . .
Hahaha!
Ah the male ego self medicated. Must be a gold finch?
Vicki, it's fun to see how Happy Hour is celebrated at your feeding station! What beautiful feathers on those birds, such a contrast to our sparrows and pigeons. xo
We have many gold finches in our feeders, too. But ours are gluttons and just eat, eat. Yours are more literate and at least have some conversation –it must be the proximity to a published writer!
The return of the birds is one of the great joys of spring. Your feeding station looks well attended.
Ha, you have such a great imagination!
