The forsythia is a golden explosion . . .
And a shy primrose emerges.
The tree peony unfurls its new foliage . . .
Daffodils are poised to open . . .
Hellebores have been blooming for months . . .
A single daffodil unwraps its trumpet. . .
An Oriental magnolia down the road is a glory again.
Another hellebore and a clump of grape hyacinths show out -- both undemanding and both beautiful.

I'd love to be enjoying your area right about now!
oh so beautiful
not much stirring here
This is such a time of color, isn't it?
I love it too, though our colour is not so advanced yet despite the mild winter.
