I drove through this mess to take my daughter to the airport at 4:00 this morning. Scary ride with the wind and driving snow. When I got back home I gave a thought...a brief thought...to walking barefoot in it. But I never have and was afraid it might have the opposite effect on me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
The snow is melting a bit now, as forecast. But it was beautiful. I hope nobody is inconvenienced too much, as it sure had changed lots of people's plans for the day!
You put our dusting to shame, but we had heard that you were in the bulls eye of the storm. I trust the pantry (and the wine cellar) were well stocked in preparation. Jim

my friend Sigrid said the same thing....and to fling open the windows every Friday when cleaning the room
And thank you also, Vicki, for this first footprint.

How brave you are!!! :-)
Snow. I can't believe how early it hit you this year. Utterly beautiful, though.
Stay warm,

Snow! Seems early, surely, even for you? That looks quite a heavy fall too. We're still having summer here, very mild and sunny. Stay warm.
Yes, it's a bit early for a snow like this -- more often it would late November. Ah, climate change....
Here's to good health!
That certainly was not a wimpy snow. We are cold enough for snow but I hope it holds off a little longer.
Good luck! It seems so early to me.
ha. i saw that you got snow...bristol did too...we just got the cold...but i will remember your barefoot trick...
Ummmmmm.... seriously? I might have to try that!

Oh, yes, Jim! Well-stocked!
To early this year. No snow here, but bitter cold Saturday (23 degrees). It's back on track now with more typical weather.
