Fifty One Years

Good grief! Another anniversary?  Time just keeps moving on . . .

No, we don't do a big celebration beyond the Eggs Benedict and bubbly for breakfast and a nicer than usual dinner. I think it's a measure of our contentment that staying at home is our first choice -- and it's not just our advanced age -- we've pretty much always been that way. When you're already there, there's no need to look for something better . . .

So thank you, John, for all the good years -- may we stay on track for many more!

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary... and many more! It's a beautiful thing to hear someone speak of contentment nowadays. Most are always wanting something more, or better, or more exciting. Nice to know someone has it "just right".

You are such a good example of what people are wishing for and of what I am wishing for too of course.

"When you're already there, there's no need to look for something better . . ." Absolutely. Would that more of the world could experience that level of contentment. Happy anniversary. Jim

As the kids would say, "It's super awesome that you've been married so long." Sounds to me like the perfect way to celebrate your anniversary. Congratulations, and keep on truckin'.

We had our 43rd on Thursday. Like you, no big celebration. Just a card exchange and a lot of thanks. Happy Anniversary.

Happy anniversary to you both. The pictures are beautiful. The train track is a visual metaphor for staying on track. No train wrecks in your life, just smooth moving on down the line.
