I love the first shot. Created a mystery for me. Is that a hot house or is it part of your house. I see the chair and porch but seem disconnected from the house. The window is open. Just like your mystery books you have created a mystery picture.
Those are actually wild black raspberries. The rose is a Joseph's Coat the tiny blue wildflower is a Venus' Looking Glass and the yellow/orange spiky thing is a Tritoma aka Red Hot Poker.

The title by itself says it all.
But of course the pictures adds to it.
Great snaps.

And thanks to lots of work they are beautiful!
What a lovely atmosphere ... think that I did hear some bees a-buzzing, though.

Jim, that is a little shed greenhouse attached to the south end of our house. The steps are to the front porch where the rockers are.
Not all the garden is silent. Those blackberries are screaming to me, "cobbler, cobbler, cobbler."
Silent yes, but calling out "Look at me!"
It may be silent, but it speaks to me.
