A very proud stone mason, Mr. Vann must have been. What a luxuriously decorative stone house! It's art. And those whispy clouds between the hills, I know the feeling!
I was killing time before an event at the ars Hill Library and drove down an unfamiliar street. M reward was this very cool house -- an on line search tell me that the Professor (and his wife) who built the house, boarded female students. Also, that the architecture was influenced by the professor's native Texas.

Beautiful. Believe it or not I've never been to Mars Hill. It's high on my to-do list.
