What a lovely trip through this collection! I've so many questions. Last pic what is the flower? Love the rain on the porch. What it that pole in the middle of the field on the hill? What is planted so lovely in curving rows in the field? Great morning sharing!

Barb, the purple flower is clematis. The pole was once used to stack hay around -- the old time way of dealing with hay before there were baling machines. (We've made hay this way and its kinda fun.)And that's tobacco in the curving rows. (Not ours, thank goodness -- we quit growing tobacco years ago.)

Nostalgia grabs me instantly and takes me back to spring rains and hills and hollows of Henderson County. Your Pictures are story books of life in the Smokies. Thank you Vicki
