And I was happy that I had gotten home just too late to help with the first Chicken Massacree of the year. . .
I wasn't missed at all -- Justin and Claui and Claui's niece and one of Claui's friends had the feathers and the guts a-flyin' . . .
It's good to be home!
I have lots more John C. Campbell pics and will spread them through several posts.

I wouldn't have missed that one bit. Don't think I'm cut out for it.
Welcome home!
Not only is coming home, in itself, wonderful . . . but timing is everything. I hope the wind was favorable as you arrived. I still remember the "chicken harvest" stink from about age seven...
oh you came home to a lot of fun...and ha...the kittens look excited...smiles.
Good timing! Glad you are home safe and sound. Sounds like it was a terrific week.
Looks like the kittehs were all worn out after the excitement of the chickens.
Kitten heaven...they share it with you. Chicken hell...but they were raised to be eaten, so will serve their life's purpose too.
