Love the shadows that look like little electric charges!

What on earth is that in the penultimate shot?

Beautiful!

The bare branch on the first shot made me ponder why it has no leaves.

I am dreaming of driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in fall.

Is that the shadow of a clematis? It's a great shot. I do love looking at your photos.

These are old pictures, thus the leafless branch. A big thunderstorm was approaching and I was afraid we might lose power so I quickly posted this. (We didn't lose power.)

The penultimate hot, Martin, is a mushroom that has opened and kind of exploded. It looks like a ea creature to me.

The shadows are of a clematis and its whirly seed pods.

I love the photo of the seed pod shadows. That's wonderful. And I'm not sure about Madison County, but in Black Mountain this year it's a mushroom mecca! I have never seen as many mushrooms as I have this year.

Gorgeous shots Vicki! Love that big ole mushroom.

Marvelous pics as always and this mushroom looks like a great table! I am wondering if birds will come and have a feast out of it?? :-)

Like some of the others, I love the clematis shadows. Funny how the shadow of something can sometimes be more interesting than the something itself.

I also love the mushroom.
