It Must Be Late Summer

When the Joe Pye Weed flaunts its mauve blooms . . .

And the Milkweed pods ripen. . .

And the wild Virgin's Bower clematis twinkles like a flowery galaxy . . .

And a Maple drops reminders of what's to come. . .

Summer has been brutally hot, but I so hate to see it end!

Doesn't seem possible what with the strange weather and isolation.

Brings back memories of going places where I could see some of these flowers/seed pods.

You missed the ragweed....the others are lovely, the ragweed, not so much [sneeze, sneeze]...

You've been a very busy lady! And you have some lovely photos! I always thought ragweed was pretty until I was tested and found to be allergic to it! Have a grand week!
