Roof Lines

There is something about this collection of peaked roofs that reminds me of little buildings that my Dad and I used to make out of the cardboard that the laundry used in folding his shirts. Each sheet of cardboard had a white side that could be decorated with windows, doors and so forth, and we could create little villages.

You've brought back a very sweet memory. Thank you!

At first I thought there was snow on the roofs in the top photo! I love doing paintings of rooftops with their dramatic angles and shadows. Love these photos, Vicki.

Looks like they are all Tin Roofs. Oh boy I haven't heard rain on a tin roof for so many years. Do you have tin roofs Vicki?
