That's exactly what I have been doing. Everything seemed sad this year. The colors were muted and brown leaves fell everywhere. Our pines are half brown from the drought. Wildfires all around, many apparently set by arson. And the election went so badly. So I look at other Autumns in photograph and long for those days again. I'm not ready to move on yet.
Your old pictures are wonderful. Seems those fires are around Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. What a tragedy. We have a little color here in Southern California. Just a few Sycamores and Cotton woods turn.
