Along the Road ...

Willa let me use the camera...

I saw three crows in a roadside tree. By the time I stopped and poked the camera out the window, this is all I could get. Smart, camera-shy birds.

It's so beautiful where you live, Vicki. That river...all that water...so gorgeous!

Well, you got crow in movement, but that's still crow! Is that the crazy French lady in the background?

That is, indeed, the French Broad.

I was surprised to see geese and a cow in the same photo. And aren't crows fun to watch, but hard to catch in cameras!

Vicki, thank you for sharing these seasonal roadside attractions. It's grand that Willa knows about sharing.

Geese, cows, crows and the French Broad. What a wonderful back drop for Willa to practice on.

I like your photos from the road. While driving back from North Carolina, along the Nantahala River, the landscape was beautiful but there were few places to stop. I am the one driving so it’s hard to take photos. There are such beautiful spots and animals along the way - I like those you showed.

Canada geese right? Spending the winter in warmer climes? There is always something to see along the road isn't there!

An easy way now for me to remember this river's name thanks to Ms A.
