I must admit I got the idea from Miss Yves who has been doing some lovey haiku comparing snow scenes to wash paintings. (At least I think that's what she's saying -- my French is seriously sketchy.)
The snow's melting here too. Can't stand the sight of it anywhere, even less the perpetually grey skies. I wake up in the morning, see no sun rising, want to go back to bed immediately.
I realize only now that you are a brave woman, no word verification! I left it out for a couple of days, but the spam robots combed through day and night. So, back to word veri I went.
Hi, Merisi -- We've had two days of sun -- just in time because the gray days were making us all cranky. And I spotted the first bluebirds today which can only bode well.
The only problem I've had with spambots has been on older posts -- which are now set to require my approval. There've been a few others but only a few -- so far, so good!

Beautiful linking of photography and poetry, Vicki!
Simply delightful.
Great Haïkaï, and great capture!
Oh, that's beautiful.
Simple and beautiful. The picture and the poem.

Such grace, in all senses of the word.
Blessings, Star
Vicki, that is absolutely gorgeous and also mysterious at the same time.
