Simple and beautiful. The picture and the poem.

I must admit I got the idea from Miss Yves who has been doing some lovey haiku comparing snow scenes to wash paintings. (At least I think that's what she's saying -- my French is seriously sketchy.)

Master strokes, indeed! :-)

Beautiful haiku too!

The snow's melting here too.
Can't stand the sight of it anywhere, even less the perpetually grey skies. I wake up in the morning, see no sun rising, want to go back to bed immediately.

I realize only now that you are a brave woman, no word verification! I left it out for a couple of days, but the spam robots combed through day and night. So, back to word veri I went.

Hi, Merisi -- We've had two days of sun -- just in time because the gray days were making us all cranky. And I spotted the first bluebirds today which can only bode well.

The only problem I've had with spambots has been on older posts -- which are now set to require my approval. There've been a few others but only a few -- so far, so good!
