Scene Around

Miss Susie Hutchins greets the dawn.

John gives the roof of the chicken tractor a coat of shiny green to match
the Spring. The dogs are not impressed

Blossoming trees (Bradford pears?) at the school where I teach on Wednesday evenings.

The weeping cherry down at the pond is blooming, enticing me to come sit beneath it . . .

But I am in the final throes of rewriting Miss Birdie and am stuck indoors for most of the time.
If nothing don't happen . . . well, I do hope to be done by the end of this month
. . . if nothing don't happen.

Good luck on the re-write!

You can tell a Bradford Pear because the tree has a perfect cone shape.

Hey Carol -it's getting pretty gorgeous here!

Chris -- Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the tip! I'll have to take another look at those trees on Wednesday -- I think they're more globular.

Miss Susie Hutchins is such a cutie! She looks like a long haired version of one of our kitty sons, long since in Heaven, named Tommy Two Tones.

It sure looks like Spring is coming on nicely at your place!

Yep, spring is starting to show it's face, but a part of me still wonders if winter has gone over the horizon, or if it's just hiding around the corner to give us one last "boo" as we walk by.
