Nothing spectacular yet--just a yellow tinge on Barnett Mountain and more and more yellow on the nearby trees.
The slow spread of fall color is fine by me--when we get into the bright reds and oranges, it's beautiful but over too soon.
There's still time (and favorable temperature) to sit on the porch and enjoy the slow progression.

It is beginning to gallop past us.
Western NC is glorious in autumn!
It's progressing very fast here. A maple tree I can see from my desk that's behind the barn, turned all yellow but now has lost most of its leaves. The swamp maples down the road which were first to go all red, are now bare branched. Off to Vermont shortly to see the leaves there north of us.
