Dear Sirs

Dear Sen. Tillis, Sen. Budd, and Rep. Edwards:

I urge you to work for the release of the complete, unredacted Epstein Files.

I urge you to rein in the mad, lawless behavior of the POTUS who is treating the National Guard as his private army/landscaping crew; who is weaponizing the Justice Department against political rivals; who is attempting to undo all the progress made toward renewable energy; and who is using his office to enrich himself and his family on a scale hitherto unknown.

I urge you to seek the dismissal (if not the imprisonment) of the highly unqualified RFK whose quackery is imperiling the health of our nation.

I urge you to stop the lawless behavior of ICE--whose masked bounty hunters are a shame to this nation.

Groceries are higher; imports are going through the roof, and the US is becoming a pariah nation in the eyes of the world.

Are we great yet?

Your increasingly angry constituent

Now trump seems to have been hit by bolt of lightning that made him see Putin, Xi, Kim and Modi are (gasp!) "conspiring against the United States." What will he do in response to this very belated revelation? This is a very dangerous time to have an idiot in the White House.

"Are we great yet?" ... I fear the answer is "Shall we ever be great again?" The world is now aware upon how slender a reed the greatness of this country rested, how vulnerable we truly are. And trust, once betrayed, does not easily recover -- if it recovers at all. Trump is an ill wind, indeed, and blows good only to the puissant rich whose money can shield them from the devastation.

No, not great yet and slipping farther away.

We've been fooling ourselves all these years. Not great at all. We tried to rectify some of our horrible errors with the Civil Rights Act but now that has been trampled upon. The horrible parts of our history are being sanitized away. Jobs are disappearing for people of color, for LQBTQ and for scientists!

It's all very sad. More than sad really. How fragile is our peace, our prosperity... more than we realise.

Perfect letter Vicki, and thanks for writing. It distresses me to hear people complain about the coming end of our democracy and not do anything about it!
