Epiphyllums

AKA orchid cacti. I've had these beauties over thirty years.

They winter in my little green house and are kinda ugly most of the year. Then they put on a show.

I presume they're related to Christmas cacti and Night Blooming Cereus. I have some of those too but they aren't in bloom.

So glad you have a little greenhouse so they can thrive all year then put out these beautiful blooms!

Yes, they are related to Christmas/Thanksgiving/holiday cactus. It's remarkable that they survive in homes and greenhouses, so distant from their natural habitat.

Such pretty colors. Reminds me of a jacket I purchased recently to wear to a wedding.

Wow, they're amazing. For some reason the top photo reminds me of the Vatican guards with their bright outfits and billowing sleeves. (Been seeing a lot of them on the News at the moment, with the conclave having begun.)
