Cows Don't Worry

I'm reminded of the old question: Would you rather be a satisfied pig or a dissatisfied philosopher?

These days, a bovine imperturbabilty seems a bit enviable.

But that would be wrong.

Good rumination by both you and them.

It's a wonder that people can eat beef after seeing the cows lovely eyes!

The three animals with the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen: cows, giraffes, and emus. And I can't see eating ... well, increasingly, any one of them. (I've gone mostly to the vegetarian side at this point.)

They don't know what's coming until they reach the slaughter site and smell the blood and hear the screams of the animals who went before them. Then the sledge hammer hits their brains. If slaughterhouses had windows, no one would ever eat meat again.
