Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside ragin'
It'll soon shake your windows a
And rattle your walls
From Bob Dylan's The Times They Are A-Changin'
All 435 seats in the in the House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 Senate seat will be up for grabs.
I hope those passionate young people walk out, lie down, march and march and march to express their rage.
And then, oh, then -- I hope they register and VOTE!

Those words from Bob Dylan just never get old, do they Vicki! So true then, 1963 I think it was and even more true now perhaps! I'm with the students and so is Larry. It's time for a change and if the young can't do it, no-one can. I echo your thoughts - get out there and vote as soon as you can.
Amen. And I hope they continue to fight the good fight, not just a one-off.
One of them lives in my house and, yes, he will vote. Both my kids are far more politically engaged than I was at their age.
I am supporting all my grand kids who will be marching. They are passionate, vocal and motivated and I couldn't be prouder.
So proud of these kids, they are far more knowledgeable and mature than the "so called adults"
We also need some elders (around 40 or more years of age) to run! Come on and get elected for this great opportunity to CHANGE things around finally. (I'm having some Audacity of Hope)
Oh perfect Vicki. Yes! And let’s support these amazing young people!
Oh boy! Bob D saw into the future. These young adults are the answer. Their sincere focused cause is inspiring. I am sure there are young adults in gun owner homes where second amendment means "prying it from my dead cold hands". I think they are certainly the minority. I also love the "Right to Life" groups that stand on a stack of bibles and send their sons and daughters overseas to kill the infidels. That right to life bunch have a moral dilemma: who's life and who's right? Sorry for the rant
Rant on, Jim!
