Tulips! Out in the open! If I want to grow tulips, I have to barricade them behind a ten foot fence with barbed wire or broken glass at the top. (Slight exaggeration, but really not much of one!) The deer seem to think tulips are the tastiest thing they've ever eaten. And I love tulips.

We don't have many -- these are right next to the house.
No school buses here today. Freezing rain left roads in a pickle although the main ones were ok this morning. My driveway was a skating rink.
With all our rain we have wild flowers of the desert variety blooming. Most are very small. Less than 1/2 inch diameter.
