That looks a little bit like a very young sprout and bud of some kind of lily. Vague, huh?
The other thing it looks like is Hope.

No clue, but I would probably guess some kind of lily, too.

It looks like a crocus or a lily.

A kind of a snowdrop??
But it can't be.

By the leaves I will guess trout lily...but not this time of year

Leaves are too wide for crocus I think, but some other bulb. We're having some strange things happening; someone posted yesterday a black snake was awake, looking at her, and both wondering what was going on.

I don't know either -- I know I planted some snowdrops last fall but I've never had them before so am not sure about this. If it survives the low temps we're having today and opens, then I'll know for sure...maybe

This could very well be the first snowdrop, Vicki!

It looks very similar to my snowdrops:

Looks like Spring to me! And you should whisper in her ear that it is winter.... Safety first!

I don't know, but I do know that they are all gorgeous photos. Happy New Year!

I was thinking crocus. It looks like those leaves. Seems like spring is confused and coming early... It will be surprised in a few weeks. That's for sure!

It IS a snowdrop. My kind neighbor gave me hundreds of bulbs out of a huge mass he has had for decades. They come up and bloom by late January. If you have a sunny spot, yours could bloom earlier. They seem to do well even in snow and below freezing weather.
