Romper Room

Despite what it looks like here, Willa has decided Bob is lots of fun.

(Same video on YouTube HERE)

And then Ali joined in the fun . . .

.

Yep, Bob is one of the gang now.

I love it! And I love it not least for the fact that, through that crazy, fun play, they're getting their pack order organized and bonding. A doggy molecule picking up another atom.

Bob is very sociable, isn't he. I'm glad he's been accepted now. Loved your video.

How sweet that they let Bob into the pack. Makes life easier I know. Now...Bob just needs to realize.hear got a good home and not run off.

Looks like a happy pack ! I would really be worried about the stained glass lamp behind the couch, LOL

Since I'm not a dog person, I've never seen dogs-at-play, but this sure looks like they are having a great time!

While the dogs playing is amusing, the funniest thing about that video is how John completely ignores the rumpus and calmly goes about his business.

Awww, so sweet, and so glad it didn't take long for them all to become friends.

Karen B -- John grew up in a house with five dogs and in our 51 years of marriages, we've always had multiple dogs -- he's inured to dog rumpus.

This is why we have leather sofas -- not a fashion statement - but because they withstand dog wear reasonable well. (What the kittehs are doing to them is another thing but I'd rather have dogs and cats than a pristine house.)

We do worry about the lamp and truly the dogs rarely rumpus to this extent. But we didn't discourage it this time because it was a bonding thing. Plus, just watching their sheer, unbounded exuberance is as good a spirit lifter as anything I can imagine. But that's just me.

A fun time was had by all. Dogs do know how to have a good time when they get bored.

Love it Vicki, especially love your all in attitude towards the dogs as members of the family pack--up on the couch--rumpus and all. And I bet that was a noisy rumpus (have my sound off at work!). :-) My three collie girls go at on occasion in the house but it's mostly just a shrill shouting and teeth snapping match, they (usually) save the real rough housing for outside.

Thanks for sharing!

How wonderful that they let you and John live with them. You must perform the feeding, door opening, and other Human skills dogs need quite well so they're let you stay.
