At last the time seemed right to remedy our catless state, so yesterday I went to our local animal shelter and came home with these two month old sisters. . .
The names are from Old Time String Band music -- and Cory is a nod to a cat-enabling friend who's getting ready to move to the west coast
As
I said, aren't you glad I don't have you trapped somewhere showing you
all these pictures? And there are even more I didn't post. . .
Darlin' Cory has more white on her . . .
And she spent less time in hiding . . .
Angeline's markings are more symmetrical and she reminds me of the late Miss Susie Hutchins . . .

Two new little family members... I am so glad for all of you.
Lovely!
Two lucky kittens! May you enjoy each other for decades. Jim
They are quite precious Vicki! So glad you gave them a home.
ha. so cute...and playful....looks like our domino though he is big now...kittens are so cool...
Congrats to the new mama. Kittens playing, something to cheer anyone's soul. And I see dogs and kits are working out their relationships too!! Sure, show as many pics as you wish for my taste!
Oh...I want a Kitty but I don't want to have to keep a litter box clean!
Love a cat on the lap purring..
They are so sweet Vicki, bless you for giving them a spot in your paradise!
Yes, they are adorable. Home, sweet home.
I'm so happy Vicki! Lucky you and those lucky, lucky little girls. Susie Hutchens would be proud. (not so sure about Eddie though). Kittens are such a joy and a source of endless entertainment. What does Willa think of them--now that she isn't the baby anymore? ;-) The girls are beautiful and it's wonderful that you got two of them.
Tammy
Adorable....makes me think Miss Meadow Kitty should get a companion...after all...she lost her brother in December and she is 14 herself...we do not want to be catless and a kitten would learn a lot from sweet Meadow. Have to tslk with hubby and check the shelter!!
Oh the CUTENESS! I love them at that age. Did you know that today is Cat Parent day at Petfinders? It's perfect timing.

I don't work for them, or anything, I just love it when people rescue pets and give them loving homes. It's all good!
I was thinking of you and your catio, Tammy. And how much fun five kittens must have been.
Will's feeling were slightly hurt -- she says if anyone had asked her, she would have vetoed the acquisition. But she's all in favor of catfood.
Vicki, please do show us more playful kitten photos. They are adorable!
I also look forward to some captioned dogs on a sofa session photos. xo
How cute are they !!!
So nice of you to give them a home.
Can't believe they gave them to you the day after being fixed though ..
xo,
JC
I'm not a fan of cats, but these two seem like real 'characters'.
They are perfectly beautiful ladies.
She left me here to weep a tear and beat on de old jawbone. Haven't thought of Angeline Baker for a long time although Wake up Darlin' Corey is on my iPod.
They are so adorable I would likely spend the day watching them play.
so happy you took both of them
lucky kitties
and yes, kitten are the funniest
hunters....
they are beautiful
...
Vicki, I'm so happy that these two darlings got such a wonderful home! In the picture of William and the kittens, I don't know who looks more alarmed; William or the kittens. Please, post more pictures, lots more!
Two cuties. Love the pictures. Just saw a darling video of three black kittens all over the most passive dog ever. Here's the link. Cat and dog lovers will get a kick out of this.

Lucky kitties - they've landed on their feet!
I love to see kittens play. They are so adorable.
Completely adorable! OMG, how I love kittens. For a while I was adopting one a year (volunteering with rescue, fostering, etc and unable to resist) until at one point I had 13 and said: whoa, gotta stop. So it's now been 9 years since I've enjoyed kitten antics -- thank you so much for these! LOL
Very pretty little girls. We have 3 girls and on poor brow beaten boy. They each have staked out their territory. I have been using the pine pellets used for horse bedding for litter and have saved alot of money doing that.
