I woke up from a dream the other morning that it had snowed and my husband was worried about the tomatoes and peppers. Wishful thinking, obviously, as we continue on our stretch of over 90 degree days.
Politics makes me avoid the news. And now the constant heat makes me avoid the weather reports. Even our nighttime lows are 70. And I've never seen the trees so still with totally absent our mountain breezes. I feel trapped inside the house.
I'm sitting with a fan trained on me trying to recover from carrying in the groceries. Time maybe for reading or watching favorite old movies, NCmountainwoman.

Probably a nice thought right about now!
No, not ready yet. :)
It's been hot here -- smothering hot. Not really ready for snow either but I like to believe that it will get cooler.

Those snow scenes are so very welcome, Vicki.
This morning it's already sticky hot in NYC. Last evening's sustained thunderstorm is but a memory....

We've had a few warm days here, but nothing much above the early 30s centigrade. Back to seasonal average now.
Hot out here at around 90 degrees. Some days in the mid 80s . August and September our hottest months are coming.
How amazing to see snow in July! But then I guess you have altitude where you are?
Not that much altitude! These are pictures from winter, just as a reminder.
