Wow. We go almost once a week in winter to keep the salt off the car. They are fun!!

Ha, yes, I used to love those but they seem to have gone out of fashion round here, replaced by lots of young men rushing around with power washers.

Once upon a time I went through one of these with my 3 year old son in his car seat in the back seat of my station wagon. All was fun and exciting until something in the car wash caught on the bike rack on the back of the car and smashed in the back window. I sat frozen with horror as my son screamed in terror.

They had told me I could go through with the rack so eventually the window got replaced with no cost to me and my son still remembers the day many years later.

The ones around here are "brush free" now and don't get a thing clean...guess they protect the paint or something, but I need the scrub. What fun for you, another first! And there are many more to come!

Vicki, what a ride you've taken us on! Very funny stuff, but also very interesting photographs.

Ya got me Vicki, Thought you could have been at a waterfall close up. Ah yes, car washes. Don't know what governor Jerry is going to say about them and the drought.

Ours is a brushless car wash so it isn't nearly as entertaining.
