They're (Almost) Everywhere

Cats in the living room . . .

Cats lurking in the greenhouse. . .

Cats blocking the view . . .

Acting all superior . . .

At least there're no cats out here.

Surely this is a site well worth seeing.

Cats own the world! Our cat has several spots that are "hers", cushy spots with good views. They're my effort to keep her off the furniture I don't want her on. She tests me now and then, jumping onto one of them with a look of "will she or won't she?". Of course, I do shoo her off, and will the next time, and the next time, and the next time...

Hi to all the animals! Love the "lap dog" who is kind of pushing it. And aren't you great to leave your beer on the rail to take such a sweet picture.

Your cats are so pretty and proper. Neat black and white patches just in the right spots.

Napping with your dog in your lap and holding a beer bottle without dropping it is a feat most people cannot do. That is a peaceful picture.

Just cats acting like cats. I seem to remember that blocking the view scene from when I had both cats and dogs. Sometimes our cat, Samantha, would hide and stretch out a paw, claws and all, on a dog as he or she wandered by. It was funny. She would do it to us too.

Love your country porch. I have a feeling the dogs especially love it too. -- barbara -- FOLKWAYS NOTEBOOK

I'd love to adopt several aspects of your life: your mountain view, your land - and now that lovely porch. I dream of a porch with rocking chairs. The cats always make me laugh - blocking the view.... don't they always know how to do that, including blocking the view of your keyboard and your newspaper.
