Dad gummit, someday I WILL get a butterfly, if I could just get one to be still long enough!

Nice, Vicki!

What an amazing butterfly, the one with blue on. Your Fall looks a good deal prettier than ours so far.

Mind the yellowjackets, they get aggressive this time of year.

October in the mountains truly is my favorite time of the year. Do you know the name of the butterfly? We had so many on our thistles. Just beautiful. Those yellowjackets are buggers this time of the year. They ran us off the deck when we were trying to have lunch. Always, always, love your photos!!!

Beautiful! My favorite is the mountains/clouds shot.

The birds at your feeder look like they are discussing the weather -- nice photos -- barbara

Beautiful fall images, the butterfly takes my breath away!

I hope there are still leaves left on the trees by the end of next week!!!

Dannie, I think that the blue butterfly is called a Red-Spotted Purple. The next picture is some sort of moth, I think -- possibly a cutworm moth.

Don't worry, Merisi, the peak is at least a week away.

Lovely pictures with the light filtering through so prettily.
