Love the fungi photos! Well, all the photos are beautiful, but those are my favorites. I am quite sure the Faeries would use the yellow spotted ones for umbrellas ;)
It's been a weekend for autumn atmosphere photos, hasn't it? You've inspired me to put up some of mine from misty drizzly Saturday. Come look at the road and tell me if it doesn't look like yours!
I haven't noticed our sassafras starting to turn, but the asters are in full bloom. And I always love the "fog risin' out of the hollers." We probably have a bit of that today, too, as it's been raining since midnight.
These are amazing pictures. Following your blog is very healing for me at times. Takes me back to my families mountain home in Eastern Kentucky. I can't be there physically but your pictures make me feel like I am there. Thank-you for that.

Delightful pictures!
Love the yellow 'shrooms and the little ones on the fence post. I'd love to see some of the colored ones in person.

Vicki, what beautiful autumn messages you've sent us.
(The weathered fence post could be the inspiration for a new Muppet character!)

Am enthralled by the pretty yellow toadstools. Don't think we have those. I agree they're made for fairies.
