Yummy! I did mention before in one post that when we were young, my father used to have a corn field opposite our rice plantation...

Not easy to find a non ogm corn or to be sure that it is not one but when we do it's a real pleasure. Peaceful pictures.

I finished putting up corn this week ... despite the weather, it was a good year and the corn tasted oh so good. Now there are just a few ears left to have fresh this week end. On to tomatoes .....

That corn is going to be sweeter yet in the middle of winter when you are wishing for the return of some of this steamy weather! You've reminded me to head down the road about a mile today and see if my friend has her "corn for sale" sign out!
