This Time, I Hope, With Pictures. . .

I think this is why they're called morning glories. . .
These fragile trumpets catch the early sunlight . . .

Trapping it in translucent petals . .

They hold the light, transforming it . . .
Then broadcast it to the day.

They have always been among my most favoured flowers. They grew everywhere when I was a young child growing up in Zimbabwe. Your photographs are outstanding and have captured their delicate beauty perfectly!

I adore morning glories, though they can sort of take over, as they have our front porch. I save the seeds and scatter them along our fence line. They help to soften the ugliness of the barbed wire. :-)

Lovely shots of the glory.

Beautiful descriptions of a beautifully delicate flower.

We planted morning glories for the first time ever this year. We were told they were almost a weed flower and just needed sunshine. We failed! So, thank you for sharing yours.
