That is so true. It was in the ninties today and so humid. It then clouded up, high winds, some thunder and rain, and then it got a little cooler. Only 88 degrees high tomorrow and 81 on Sunday. That is such a reprieve.

We have been there, done that for so many days and yet it takes time to rain intermittently. Sounds like a weather person's word, huh?

Those temperatures, along with the humidity, can be energy-sapping. Hope you get a little respite soon.

Makes your brain waves feel like sludge, doesn't it? We're having a little cooler weather at the moment, but I think it won't last for long.

Then relax, cool drink, sleep maybe... enjoy!

Very true. It has been hot at my place too. Take a break and cool off.
Have a nice day Vicki:)

I can relate Vicki ... this just goes on and on and is getting downright depressing! Find a cool place, stay there and relax.

Have we got the same weather??? It's either hot and oppressive here or it's raining with thunderstorms.

I worked in the garden, tying up and suckering the tomatoes in the morning and used up all my heat endurance. Then I had things to do, about which I'll probably post tomorrow that kept me way too busy.

Plus we went to dinner at friends' house and didn't get home till VERY late.

The weather is supposed to moderate a bit by Monday.

Brain waves like sludge is a very apt description, June.

Sun comes out - I go in! Thank goodness England rarely hits the high spots.

Been there, done that! I know just how you feel.

Amen to that! It's uncomfortable even in the early morning. You have to change your shirt just walking to the mailbox.

That´s an excuse as good as any. Finally we are getting some rain over here.

Since you don't have to move much while blogging perhaps it is the ideal thing to do when it is hot unless you want to do the following: swim, take a cold shower every ten minutes, wade in a kiddie pool with your dog, or snooze in a hammock? -- barbara

Jinksy -- so the old saw about mad dogs and Englishmen out in the noonday sun doesn't apply to English women?

Things are hot in so many places. A friend just back from San Francisco says it's chilly there. Hmm. Or there's Patagonia.

Not here.
But what a wonderful picture.
Make sure you don't melt away, have some ice cream.

Ha! I'll admit I've got a bit of the slows going on here too. I think I could handle the heat if the humidity wasn't so oppressive! Pretty picture.

I can feel the heat!

I hope you get a break in the weather soon!
Luckily, we are enjoying a weekend with rain and cooler temperatures. Quite nice after a long hot spell!

I so agree-it's about to hot to do anything!
