Such marvellous shots to see this Friday. So difficult to choose a favourite, but if I'm pushed, I'll have to go with the duck and her brood.
oh nice pics...i think i love the giraffe one...
Thanks for sharing these - love them!! In my dreams, too.... My favorite is the bird on the lamp post silhouetted against the sky. The dangling frog is a close second.
They're fabulous. I can't choose.
Hey - the Merkats plus kitty was photoshopped, had to be. Loved the three wolves yawning at the same time
Scrolling through the pictures (before reading your text) I thought, wow, that picture of the snails is really sharp. Nice job Vicki....Then I see the giraffe and squirrel and my sleepy brain says...what? What's she raising down on that farm? ;-)
Have a great weekend.
Tammy
Too many, too gorgeous to select a favorite.
Enjoy the great weekend and celebrate the open Interstate.
Incredible shots !
it's too difficult to choose...However, I love the brigh colors of the snails ,those of the "caméleon" (?)the eagle catching a trout.
I love the giraffe, licking the squirrel. That's my favourite.
Blessings, Star
My favorite is the snails just for the beauty of the colors and composition -- I almost hear music playing (a slow waltz) when I look at it.
The giraffe is charming -- something about inter-species friendship is always appealing. I have to agree with Helen though that the cat with the meerkats must surely have been photoshopped!
The clarity of some of these shots as awesome.
I hope that Nat Geo wouldn't allow any photoshopping?? There are so many, but I think I like the the hen on the puppy, and for my own pleasure am going to assume that it's real. :) Thanks for posting these!
Couldn't choose at all, they are all marvellous.
And there's us blogging lot thinking we can do photographs. It takes more than a digital camera to take a good photograph. Perhaps I should take lessons.
I wondered about that too, Amelia! Maybe it's a cat raised by meerkats? Or maybe it's not an authentic Nat. Geo shot -- these pictures came around in the email -- multi-forwarded and I can't vouch for the authenticity of all of them.
True, Friko. And there are digital cameras and Professional digital cameras, not to mention incredible lenses. But we all do pretty well in our modest little ways, I think!
Oh, I love the snails. I think of them as slimy and horrid but this makes them look like jewels.
All of these are wonderful. The colorful bird catching a dragonfly in midair is my favorite.
