Another Easter Party

Yesterday was, I believe, the 31st Easter Party we've had at our farm.  Things don't vary much -- lots of good food, lots of little kids, some dressed very fancy.
There are three concurrent egg hunts, divided by age groups.
This year seemed especially joyous after the long cold winter with so many gray days -- everyone was ready to celebrate!

So nice to see such a happy gathering in such lovely surroundings. And even the sun threw his coat off!

What wonderful pictures of your gathering ... I love the golden eggs! I don't think we could have asked for a more beautiful day ... over here it was to as close to perfect as a person could ask for.

Those are exactly the surroundings that I like! How wonderful to have such parties while the weather is great! Thanks for sharing.

It was perfect weather -- and now for the cleanup-- which isn't too bad but will keep me busy today. Fortunately we got lots done last night and will have some help today.

It looks marvellous fun - those children will grow up treasuring the memories. Your homestead looks such a beautiful place.

My WV is 'someday' - a real word! Someday...I'll visit your neck of the woods.

I'm glad your Easter was extra special-and filled with beauty! I can see why you've been doing the hunt for so many years-it looks like a blast for everyone.

Just lovely dear Vicki. We enjoyed a beautiful autumn day yesterday, unfortunately no kids around this time to share the excitement, our grandsons went away, we'll have them next week, which will be good enough!

I've posted new pictures today, thinking of you, very specially.

What a joyful Easter feast you prepared and celebrated! I love the pictures you took, especially the one with that little girl in her blue Easter finery and the little dog in the doorway.

It's definitely worth a visit, jennnyfreckles -- especially in Spring or Autumn!

Oh, Joanny -- rain on Easter -- just doesn't seem fair.

Hi, Willow and Tipper-- it's a fine party, indeed, and especially fun when children who were toddlers in the early years are bringing their own toddlers!

I'm on my (virtual) way to Patagonia right away, Pamela!

There's a story about that little dog, Merisi -- I think I'll tell it tomorrow.

Just found these-they are wonderful. May I have permission to re-post the picture of my son to my blog (with credit to you, of course!)?

Can't wait to see ya again soon, this time with a little less chaos and a little more quiet.
