We had snow flurries up until noon yesterday and by 3 had glorious, beautiful sunshine and last night stars so close you could have touched them! I can't believe how quickly the snow melted in some areas, and like Martin H., those areas are quite soggy.
Hey Vicki, I think we are all ready for some warm weather. We are expecting sunshine and 62 today! We have been in the low 20s every night and heavy white frost every morning. I'm longing to get my hands in the dirt!! :)
And that was yesterday -- today is all out sunny and warmer than it's been in months!
Unfortunately, the sun reveals the dust that has settled everywhere and makes the house look winterworn. So I'm scurrying about trying to make things look better.
Poor Liz! I feel sure that both you and the pansy will uncrumple soon and smile in the spring sunshine!

I was trying to search for "Laroes" - I had never heard that word. before. Seems to be a Dutch surname, but I could not find anything about the meaning of the word. Intriguing!
Yep, let's get the winter crud out of the house and be ready for the garden -- though it is quite soggy just now. I have great hope for the pansies -- they are amazingly tough.

Star, our house is at about 2500 feet and the mountain rises behind us to about 3000 feet.
I have searched many places, Merisi, and have yet to find an answer to the question of laroes.
And here in the California mountains I'm happy because the sky is cloudy, the wind is howling and it's starting to rain! But that rain will turn to snow by morning. Different strokes... :)

Having been snowed in for so long over here and getting the beginning stirrings of cabin fever. Guess What?!
I've gotten a big head start of my spring cleaning - Yay!!!! Dust Bunnies are dying by the hundreds.

I know, I know. But we've had what might be termed a gracious plenty of precip.
